Who are you? I’m a entertainment wardrobe stylist and model.
When did you learn you had style? I learned I had style when I was around four years old. I was confidently dressing myself by nine years old. (Lol) that was probably a trial and error situation but I’m grateful for all of my style phases .
What defines your look? My style is defined by vintage for sure. There’s always one vintage piece I’m committed to wearing with each look. Usually shoes, bags, or a good jacket! Especially in this cold haha.
If you had to wear one outfit for the rest of your life, what would it be? I could honestly live in a black long sleeve turtleneck, loose boyfriend fit denim, and Air Force ones or Jordan 12s.
Excluding fashion references, what inspires your style? Constantly inspired by the places I’ve traveled. Especially Paris! However my style is really derived from EVERYTHING. I look at skateboarders for a lot of fit references. TV shows and film as well. Most recently I’ve been binge watching Living Single and it’s helped me pull off a recent look. I also do what’s called creative hours. I go to the library to study photo references for a couple of hours each week.
What is the best decade in fashion? The 90’s. I’m a 90s baby! Everyone was still original. They didn’t look at the internet to see how they should get fly. They were resourceful and they did it!
Do you think fast fashion has had a positive or negative effect on people cultivating a personal sense of style? I think it’s trendy and often cheap. But very convenient (hence why most people shop online). There’s nothing wrong with mixing those pieces in but for the most part I’d recommend a DIY project or thrifting quality before buying fast fashion.
